Salute to Veterans charity softball in Merrimack

May 30-- May 30--MERRIMACK -- The Budweiser Brewery Experience will host a Salute to Veterans Softball Charity Tournament on Saturday at its softball fields, 221 Daniel Webster Highway. The opening ceremony starts at noon.
As part of the festivities, the Budweiser Clydesdales East Coast Hitch will be in town for the first time since Lilly the Dalmatian puppy joined the team. Weather permitting, the hitch will perform at the opening ceremony.
From 12:30 to 2 p.m., the eight-horse hitch and Dalmatians Lilly and Merri will be available for photos.
All proceeds from the tournament go toward Building Dreams for Marines, a local organization that empowers and assists veterans in need, with additional sponsors including the Nashua Police Department, Safran and Astronics.
